Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Bill C — 27 Jun 2012
An excellent performance by James Dean catapults this movie as one of the best films I have ever seen!! Natalie Wood was only 16 when she made this film and was outstanding! Dean is a troubled teen who seems to always get into trouble.
Seeking advice from his weak-willed father (Jim Backus) doesn't help. After an ill-fated race kills another teen, Dean falls in with Judy, who seems shy but intrigued by Dean. A powerful film and not to be missed!!
