Oh the joyful anticipation.. going to have to watch it three times to pick up all the nods and winks to gaming and films. The shining is a maelstrom of conspiracy theory vinegar strokes without it being replayed again here.. room 237 anyone .. why is every reference from the 80's? Maybe I am missing something V obvious and have proven myself to be a dolt.. What is it with 11 year old Chinese boys in Stevens' movies? Jonathan Ke Quan in Goonies and Indiana Jones Philip Shao in this one... is Simon Pegg the new Samuel Leroy J acting in every film ever made? Mark Rylance is an awesome actor but disturbing in this movie.. he exits stage left with his own 11 year old self being kind of creepy to say the least.
