Ready Player One is pure nostalgia and easter eggs. It stays faithful to the book with some minor changes to adapt the story to the big screen, but that doesn't matter. The CGI was convincing for a virtual world and the action scenes were amazing to look at, I didn't think they were nauseating at all. Steven Spielberg is still one of the best directors to date and he shows that by reintroducing the more Jurassic Park and ET feelings to the movie. One scene in particular was so amazing that it stuck with me while watching the whole movie. *SPOILER* it was The Shining scene. Some parts were not excellent but not terrible (talking about some of the dialogue here). If you're a Spielberg fan and a sucker for pop culture, then definitely watch this movie!
