Absolutely terrible. The movie is as deep as a 4 inch puddle. Terrible story. Characters and plot not developed. This is probably the worst movie Spielberg was involved with. This movie is a perfect example of why the movie industry is dying.
Check out Lena Waithe in "Master of None" on Netflix. Master of None is an amazing show, with great stories and great acting and FULL characters. Also watch TJ Miller in "Silicon Valley" another great show.
Thank god I watch this on HBO for free. I feel bad for the people who paid money to see this trash. Long form shows on Netflix, HBO, Showtime, FX etc are the future.
