Review of Ready or Not (2019) by Adverb — 18 May 2020
This weekend convinced me that, despite my 58+ years, I have no idea what makes a movie great. Yesterday, I watched the critically-acclaimed Roma; I watched it mainly because I needed to see what all the fuss was about.
I didn't hate it but, at the same time, I couldn't figure out why all the praise was heaped on Alfonso Cuaron. I just finished watching Ready or Not and I loved it.
