Review of Ravenous (1999) by Damon Y — 10 Aug 2008
I love horror movies and I'm a sucker for costume dramas - two great tastes that taste great together! It's actually a pretty fun, suspenseful film with a phenomenal cast. Not quite as gruesome as I expected, but pretty fun and relatively thoughtful.
My only issue is that we never really get inside of Guy Pierce's Capt. Boyd to understand what he really felt or believed about any of the crazy things he'd experienced. But, on the whole, I enjoyed it.
