Review of Rat Race (2001) by Shawna L — 11 Mar 2012
Genre = Adventure-Comedy: The first time I saw this, many scenes made me laugh so hard I cried: the Italian "It's a race man," Mr. Bean; the two brothers at the airport; the Barbie museum; the squirrel lady; flying over the boyfriend's house; cows and balloons; "How much for *that* kind of party?"; Lucille Balls; bus driver in the bathroom; and on and on.
John Cleese's character's big teeth alone are a hoot, but there are several others in this star-studded cast whose characters round out this proverbial barrel of monkeys. We bought it on DVD and re-watch it about once every year or so, chuckling each and every time.
If you've never seen this remake of the 1960's film by the same name, grab your best friend and prepare to have a blast.
