I always was curious about what does this film have that everyone praises it. Now I've seen the film and I wasn't that amazed. Nevertheless, when I realize the fact that this film is more than 50 years old I realize too of the fact that at the moment was very original in the way of telling a story.
Mifune is great but very exagereted here, just as most of the cast. But the rest of the movie is flawless. I wasn't that interested about the film until the scene of the medium. That was when I felt I was watching a classic.
