Too many movies and too little time, this one foolishly slipped past me. Nonetheless, Raising Arizona is absolute genius. The Coen brothers are undeniably flawless, but it's their amateurish nature here that gives the film such a startlingly mature and professional feel.
Raising Arizona is a rare achievement that gives film geeks like myself the inspiration to press onwards. Or in other words, thank you Joel and Ethan for once again blowing my small little mind.
