Review of Raising Arizona (1987) by Jesse Z — 20 Jul 2013

This movie is fun in the weird way you would expect a Coen bros. film to be. The writing has some really intelligent fast paced jokes that never really seem to end but always catch you off guard. Usually it's not that dirty of humor either, its just well written characters, surprisingly great acting, and a highly original concept all mixed in to what I can only describe as a satire of hillbilly and prison culture.

Great stuff in this film, it's weird but everyone should at least give it a try.
