"I've done a lot of bad things, Joey. Maybe it's comin' back to me."- Jake La Motta.

This movie is about the true-story of a boxer, Jake La Motta, a troubled and demented Bronx raised boy who is climbing the boxing racket without any help from a soul. Jake goes from the highest points in his life to the all time lowest in this incredibly talented film.

Every line and every scene is powerful, you will come away with the script engraved in your mind forever. Scorsese handles the cameras with grace as he captures the beauty in the love and the violence in the ring. De Niro, who brought this idea to Scorsese, delves into Jake La Motta and delivers the in-depth anger that truly resided in the Bronx Bull. In everything, this movie is a raging bull.

"Winner of the "Best movie of the 80's".

After seeing the movie I read the book and fell in love with the phenomenal, rise and fall, story of Jake La Motta. The movie truly depicts La Motta as he describes himself in his autobiography and readers of the book will catch a lot more in the script. This film is not only a contender for the best film to ever be made but also Martin Scorsese's best film and it contains Robert De Niro's best performance til date.
