Review of Raees (2017) by Rohan S — 30 Jan 2017

So, I've watched this movie from state of Gujarat from all the speculation and this is not so special critically from Shahrukh Khan Like Fan was, the movie has many talented actors but it was a whole SRK show.

The things I liked about the movie was the core story of how a common man rose to a business person, sometimes like a gangster. The other positive point was that the movie show how is the system corrupt of a place now which is now obsolete.

Now talking about poor in the movie, Raees had many notable actors but failed to use them properly. Talking about each actor in a row, Nawazuddin Siddiqui he's a critically praised actor but was utilized properly, The Pakistani Actor was kept just as a figure or just to sing songs.

Talking about the technical aspect, The editing was very poor to increase the screen time they've tried to place songs in every 10 minutes, story had no branches and it really went predictable after sometimes, there were no real hurdles and the protagonist was able to get whatever he want really easily, The movie aims on a message to archive communal harmony in the country is the place where it will archive all it's mark among the audience.

Overall It's a mediocre movie just a one time watch or no watch. I can summate it as one man Show.
