This movie blind sided me. I got it expecting with that title and the cover picture that this was a romantic type comedy that Anne usually stars in, but was that ever far from the truth. The first few seconds starts off with the 'f' word which stars throughout quite a lot. It's not an inspirational encouraging movie at all... in fact most of it is a little dreary but I plodded through it to see where it would go. Its an emotional, depressing movie about someone who made the wrong choices which effected the entire family tragically and therefore screwed up her life with really no way to go to get away from it.

The message is strong and powerful about raising kids strongly to keep away from drugs and alcohol, I felt, because they cause so much pain and potentially rob your joy in life as they did the character in this story.

I thought the whole thing was tragic. It was a glimpse in the life of where you felt the pain but it didn't improve or anything particularly. Definitely as my husband put it, this is an 'artsy' type movie - very slow moving but there is meaning in there but don't expect to walk out of it feeling light hearted and happy. Its depressingly sad.
