Review of Race (2016) by Zachary S — 25 Feb 2016
Race is a film that delivers solid performances and an inspiring story.
The story of Jessie Owens, [Stephen James] A natural born track runner who enters the 1936 Olympics where he faces adolf hitler's vision of white supremacy in Nazi, Germany.
The film does a solid job portraying the life of Jessie Owens and the direction by Stephen Hawks is also solid, The rest of the cast including Jeremy Irons and William Hurt also do a good job, The film's themes about racial acceptance is very inspiring.
Race is a well made biopic that excels by Stephan James's performace and it's message.
