Review of Rabid (1977) by Paul E — 03 Jan 2008
An interesting and gory (for the time) little shocker, the BAR NONE best part of this movie is Marilyn Chambers. Not only is she hot as shit, but her combination of good looks and genuinely decent acting ability elevates what otherwise might have been a subpar follow-up by Cronenberg to his slightly more disturbing Shivers.
And I won't lie...if I had to get infected with a bloodthirsty disease by a phallus-like drill that came out of somebody's armpit, I'd prefer that it be Marilyn Chambers who did it to me.
