Review of Rabid (1977) by Alex C — 25 Jul 2012

This movie is ridiculous. The mall security guard carries a machine gun and opens fire on a guy for a simple assault on another patron, while Santa and kids are in the line of fire. It never really explains how the skin graft could cause her to mutate the way she did either.

Cronenberg is crazy, which understandably results in strange sometimes confusing films, and a lot of his films deal with modern medicine/technology and bodily mutation as a result thereof, but this one just doesn't add up.
