Review of Rabid (1977) by Vincent O — 25 Jul 2010
All David Cronenberg movies are super cool and I grew up watching films such as 'Shivers' and 'Rabid', though I think I saw 'Scanners' first. You can see what a talent Cronenberg was later to become and I think most of his work has stood up to the test of time.
'Rabid' has a raw energy and represents a classic era of genre films, with contemporary directors such as Dario Argento and George A. Romero creating a golden trio. Exciting times!
