Set in the period after The French Revolution. The final years in the life of the Marquis De Sade in a Church:Insane Asylum. Dark and disturbing at times. Ultimately a struggle for the Freedom of Self Expression.
The film teeters between Healthy Sexuality and Sexual Perversion, Sexual Expression and Religious Sexual Repression. Ultimately leading to madness.
