Review of Queen Margot (1994) by Terence Marcus T — 14 Aug 2007
An absolutely gorgeous costume drama with excellent acting, particularly by the lovely Isabelle Adjani. The plot is a bit confusing, even if you are fluent in French, but then again, so was the event itself.
A quick review of the Bartholomew's Day massacre on Wikipedia would help initial comprehension immensely. Without a doubt, one of the five best period pieces I've seen.
