Review of Pusher II (2004) by Chase C — 22 Sep 2008
One of those rare instances where the sequel is far more superior to the original. The first film took a look at the occupation of a pusher while this film takes a more personal approach by showing how a pusher's job can affect his relationships with friends, family and others.
However, where the film really shines is in its showing that even people who lead dispicable lives can start over again. It's a top notch film that further prooves that some of the best films don't always come from America.
