Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Georgieboy M — 14 May 2011
I was reticent to watch this, maybe because I enjoyed the previous movie, even when it wasn't that great, but this picture is abysmally superior. The movie reminds me the structure of a comic, Its more gory and realistic than the previous one and very often you have guts splatter all over the screen.
Its strange but its one of the less known marvel movie and maybe is one of the few that captures perfectly the attitude of the original character, in part for the great performance of Stevenson and for the great script.
The cast is less dazzling that the Thomas Jane version but its a lot more effective, for example the Russoti brothers, the bad guys, give us a very funny moments,.
