Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Christopher S — 19 Jul 2012
I thought this film was going to be better than the Thomas Jane version and I was wrong. The only good thing about it was that it stuck to the Marvel comic characters and Ray Stevenson's acting. It was weird seeing Dominic West a.
K.a Jimmy McNulty of the Wire, be the bad guy. Whole he played it well, it was Doug Hutchison as Loony Bin Jim who was downright scary. Other than that, this film was not that good. It got to the point where I was constantly checking the clock and hoping Julie Benz would get naked.
That is just downright sad. Decent ending made it palatable but don't go out of your way to see it. Hopefully no more Punisher films will get produced.
