Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Joseph M — 13 Aug 2010

I give it three stars because I feel it is closer in tone to the comics than the previous two movies and if you liked the darker tone of the Punisher MAX series, you might like this. Perhaps. You might also dislike the changes made to many of the characters as well. It does what a lot of bad comic book movies do, but at the same time, it never takes it self seriously, and delivers the least of what you can ask from a Punisher film.

The Thomas Jane movie might be an overall better film, but this one is ok if you want to see the character at his meanest on screen.
