Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Enrico C — 02 Jun 2011
Flawless direction from PT Anderson as always, beautiful music, and disregard for conventions are possibly the three main reasons why this uber-bizarre rom-com works surprisingly well and is even somewhat believable, despite the fact that the main character has Adam Sandler's immensely annoying face and borderline-pathological social limitations, as well as a highly dubious message at the end.
Definitely worth watching.
