Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Patrick M — 27 Nov 2013
This movie is incredible: its a deconstruction of the Adam Sandler Character: the angry and childish loser who over the course of the film grows up. Punch-Drunk Love takes that character, and puts them into a realistic world: and the results put a whole new (autism-spectrum) perspective on trash like happy gilmore.
the fact that after the adam sandler character has been so exposed in this film, he went on to make jack and jill is revolting.
