Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Kent D — 06 Sep 2015
It's one of my favorite movies of all time. Its use of silent film techniques along with modern and uncomfortable dark humor along with Sandler's bumbling yet dramatically profound performance and at times an odd musical with colorful symbolism and metaphors about, "Punch-Drunk Love" is a beautiful work of true genius from an incredible writer/director who runs on instinct, and that's why this film is all the better.
