Punch Drunk Love is arguably by far the best film that Adam Sandler ever starred in since Reign Over Me. Despite his participation in other idiotic movies that Sandler was in, he actually proves that he can actually act in a film that is very well directed and written by the experimental Paul Thomas Anderson himself.
This movie is colorful and wacky of how this movie's story is set up. Everything ranging from the mistaken phone sex all the way to the punch drunk romance with his lovebird really does shine a light.
This movie is so exciting and gripping that made me liked it a lot. Since this is a film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, there is no doubt that this film is easily one of the best films I have ever seen since Boogie Nights.
