Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Trae K — 04 Mar 2014
This movie is absolutely NOT for everyone, but boy was I BLOWN away from it. Quentin Tarantino has set the bar straight high with this film after its theatrical release back in 1994. This movie has LOADS of entertainment value for its individual stories and splendid cast members (Bruce Willis and Tim Roth both being my most favorites overall), and what makes me love this movie even MORE is for the GENIUSLY brilliant and funny dialogue that QT wrote in the film's screenplay.
Now, to be honest, I'm usually NOT completely obsessed with QT's work in general and I actually do NOT like ALL of his films (the 2 "Kill Bill" films I find both to be slightly overrated, and "Reservoir Dogs" not being as truly amazing as I'd hoped it'd be), but he really outshined himself with "Pulp Fiction" (same thing for both "Inglourious Basterds" and "Django Unchained" too).
This movie is truly one of the greatest films ever made, and I really had fun watching it surprisingly. Also, on a VERY important note: anyone interested in wanting to see this movie either needs to be at least 16 years of age or older, or needs to be VERY mature and responsible enough (like me) before watching it due to the MASSIVE amount of foul language, severe drug use, and graphic violence in it.
Just saying.
