Quentin Tarantino is a director who makes off the walls crazy films, and "Pulp Fiction'' may be his craziest. It's the film that sort of revolutionized the 90's. It had a tremendous influence on how people dressed and went on to influence the ways in which films are written. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Christopher Walkin, Bruce Willace, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Tim Roth.

Describing the plot of "Pulp Fiction'' is difficult. All I'll say is that it's about a couple of hit men, a boxer, and a drug dealer.

This film has allot of great performances. Jackson and Travolta have some of the best on screen chemistry I've ever seen. They both have fantastic back and forth that just steals the show. Willace does a great job at being a smart a** as always. Tarantino even makes an appearance (as he usually does in his movies), and he is also great.

There aren't really any problems with this film. The strongest thing about this film is it's dialogue. It's incredibly well written. Every bit of the dialogue is funny and memorable. The weakness, if any, is that once or twice things get a bit slow in a few scenes. Normally, I'd be harsh on a film with such a messy narrative, however it really works here. The normal way films play out is all thrown away in this. It's literally a jumbled mess. But it just works. It's interesting how you spend time with one character, then switch to another, and then it all comes full circle in the end. It's an extremely inventive way of telling a story.

"Pulp Fiction'' is an iconic film of the 90's, and it's easy to see why. It's funny, smart, violent, well written, and extremely bonkers. The performances are fantastic, and the direction from Tarantino is sublime. It's narrative is flawed, but it is extremely original.
