Review of Psycho III (1986) by Veeruska K — 27 Jul 2007
Pretty goofy and nonsensical picture here. Anthony Perkins directs and returns as Norman Bates here, with Christina Crawford.. er I mean Diana Scarwid in tow. Jeff Fahey is also in it for some amusing hillbilly sicko action.
All the actors try in vain to perform along side Perkins, who just seems to be acting acting acting. His movie directing is fairly ridiculous too, as he copies scenes (not just the shower one) directly from Psycho to tell us.
.. what? I CAN BE HITCHCOCK TOO?!? Still, I did like the story arc the film had with Jeff Fahey towards the end (but it was more of my imagination where this film was headed). All in all, pretty stupid, but entertaining because of that I guess.
