Review of Psycho III (1986) by I Don't Know W — 21 Jun 2011
While it doesn't achieve it's goal to be more reminiscent of the first film, Psycho III does deliver in it's visuals, music, cast, and continuing story of Norman Bates' life after imprisonment.
Little more violent than the previous two films, has some good dark comedy moments in it though. A must see for any fan of the series. Carter Burwell's score really helps the film (listen to Maureen In The Desert, it's chilling) and supporting characters like Jeff Fahey's Duke make Norman's situation a little more tense.
Perkins is awesome, as always.
