Psycho III - written by Charles Edward Pogue and directed by Anthony Perkins. Starring Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates, Diana Scarwid, Jeff Fahey and Roberta Maxwell.

Set about one month since the events of Psycho II - A nun is attempting to commit suicide - she hits the road and arrives at Bates Motel where Norman is still running it. There is reporter in the town, she is doing everything to grab story on Norman. The law-officer of the town believes Norman has had too much of people's trash thrown at him. Norman falls in love with nun who sort of reminds him of his first victim (Janet Leigh).

Of course a man like Anthony Perkins who became phenomenon across the country and beyond; did had had his own ideas and imaginations about the character he portrayed. And what other way 'round than to grab hold of director's seat and steer it your way. The story explains it all - the man does want to be left alone, but the society and swarm of socially-ill people are the ones to be blamed for jeopardizing his loneliness. Good story at least for those of us who might have pondered decades later about - how middle-aged Norman Bates might have been living out.
