Review of Psycho III (1986) by Geoffrey O — 22 Jul 2013
It's not a bad film overall. It covers new ground in the Psycho series, and Anthony Perkins is brilliant in-front-of, and behind the camera. The script is also pretty good, but the film can get a bit weird at times and suffers greatly because of some laughably bad performances, most notoriously from Diana Scarwid, who demonstrated some of the most hilariously hammy and bad overacting you could ever find in all cinema.
Overall, I say watch it if you watched Psycho II. It concludes it's story. Otherwise, you should definitely watch the first two films first.
