Review of Psycho (1960) by Micah F — 07 Apr 2013
With "Psycho," Hitchcock proved once again that he was still on the cutting edge of filmmaking and not to be outdone. The gritty realism of the acting and the unabashedly violent content of the film's darkest scenes were aspects not yet seen in a Hitchock film (or indeed, cinema at large), and for those reasons, "Psycho" stands among the very few movies that can share the prestige of changing the world forever.
A truly chilling classic not to be missed - every film fan owes it to themselves to experience it.
