Went to see Promised Land tonight and it left me wondering about the message. It is not an anti-fracking movie. In fact, very little details about the fracking process or repercussions in the movie. The screen writers played it very safe.
No Brockovich will be found. What you do take away is the long-term vs. short-term decisions that have to be made. When it comes to our CLEAN water and CLEAN air, how much are we willing to leverage for some short term gains? Kudos to Damon and Krasinski for doing this film.
