Review of Promised Land (2012) by Ken J — 15 Jan 2013
There are so many efforts to keep you from going to this through bogus reviewers and where I live putting it in a theatre that people who would like this movie would think means it is no good and on its way out that it is not getting good play.
The owner of almost all the theatres in Marin County, CA where I live is a super right wing guy in Texas who spends a lot of his profits on donations to such climate change luminaries as Rick Perry. It is quite good with excellent acting and chemistry between the actors as well as something important to say about the way "too big to fail" energy companies are dealing with us to keep their profits going.
You will be surprised how good this film is. Go See It! There is a surprising piece to this movie at the end which is well worth waiting for.
