Review of Promised Land (2012) by Miranda D — 07 Feb 2013
The cast is very intriguing! Almost overwhelming the caliber of the lesser roles. Good meaning and solid message. Even slightly brutal at times, but helps you understand a few things about life. One being, how nothing is ever as good as they sound.
Two, Corporations are relentless and essentially evil at times. Three, life is a gamble and you have to decide what you want before you take any chance. In many ways this film delivers, but it falls short of its potential.
Especially on paper!
