A sad look at academic research and animal testing. the interpersonal dynamics among the people involved in the research reflect ill upon the human race, even if we are left the unchallenged kings and queens of language use.
An ill-designed experiment by an arrogant and remote man, a lack of knowledge of animal behavior, and the betrayal of a trusting animal all make us look bad. I'm showing it today to my linguistics class.
