Review of Private Resort (1985) by Sergio E — 16 Feb 2011
This straight forward 80's comedy stars a young, yet talented Johnny Depp and a young Rob Morrow, who actually takes the main character due to Ben's involvement with a hotel waitress. We are indulged with relatively long scenes glazing from one 80's bikini chick to another. Nice and all but extensive, although it puts you very well in the shoes of Jack and Ben.They are here to score some! Unknowingly they get tangled up with this diamond thief. The scene where they are asumed to be the hairdressers starts off a series of slapstick events, fun to watch. When more characters get involved, like the the security guy and the real hairdresser, some chicks and the funny italian stud. he, the interaction with him is a blast! So they end up in their room where it all comes together, all the little events seem to have a rerun all together with chasing, a weird cousin and a drunk girl involved.
What a vacation this must have been!
