Review of Prince of Darkness (1987) by John S — 24 May 2010
One of the better "Devil" movies and one of the John Carpenters that few ever talk about anymore. This movie is perhaps one of John Carpenter's scariest films to date, it proves why John Carpenter is one of true masters of horror.
An atmospheric portrayal of inescapable and impending doom of the most evil kind. Not to mention that the soundtrack is outstanding, but every Carpenter film has an oustanding soundtrack to it.
