Ah, for the days when John Carpenter made great movies with next to no budget! Would that we could have that John Carpenter back! This is an apocalyptic tale of a group of grad students and their physics professor who are contracted by the Catholic Church to investigate an ancient secret - a sealed cannister of swirling green goo that has been hidden away for thousands of years.

all the while, the grad students seem to be recieving video broadcasts from the future...manifesting as a shared dream. Eerie!
