SPOILER ALERT... an amazing early career performance by Edward Norton and a twist ending make Primal Fear a very entertaining film. theres a lot of extraneous plot details thrown in during the middle of the movie to throw the audience off the scent of Nortons characters wolf in sheeps clothing bit and to this end it gets a little unnecessarily convoluted for a short time.
but the energy of the courtroom scenes pushes through the superfluous layers.
