Review of Priest (2011) by Aodhan R — 06 Aug 2014
Some Sci-fi or fantasy flop with very little excitement to offer. Paul Bettany plays a Warrior Priest, loyal to the church and to God, with high commitment to protecting the human innocent, embarks on dangerous mission with a faithful sidekick to find his niece before she is killed. When men lost their lives at War with hideous bloodthirsty vampires the Warrior Priests took over the defence position of assuring human survival, for they acquire the skill and strategy required for defeating the savaging vampires and restoring freedom.
This movie is without a decent plot, filled with bad acting, boring dialogue, a script that completely ignores or gives any significance about the characters or the story. The only real praise I give for this movie is its dark tone, as it shows what a true horror movie is meant to be.
