Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Imola L — 14 Nov 2009
Police corruption has always been portrayed in Hollywood one way or another, so it's a bit of shame this one has had to come around now. We know how the storyline is going to work out, and that it all ends up becoming a moral dilemma for someone.
Farrell having played the good cop in other films takes on the dirtier side, but for me it's Norton who steals the show. Jon Voight pops up now and again but is largely wasted here as a bit part.
The film gets brutal in some areas, but requires that to really hit the story home. Enjoyable if you like the two lead actors.
3 stars!
