Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Ryan G — 28 Feb 2010
Quite simply, a mediocre story that is saved from disaster by solid performances from Norton, Farrell, Voight and Emmerich.
To be completely honest, I was disappointed to see Norton take on this role. In my opinion, he is the best actor in Hollywood, finding the right scripts to deliver stunning performances, from Primal Fear all the way to the Illusionist. He's skills have not diminished at all, but a script that does little to distinguish itself against great cop films works to his detriment here.
