The story is nothing new, variations of it have been done to death...the performances do help elevate it to something worth watching though. The performances are informly excellent.
The real hidden gem of the DVD is the "Making of" documentary. It is amazing, very well done. It isn't your typical EPK crap, and isn't semented like many other "making of docs". This one cover all aspects of the production and shows all the trials and tribulations involved in the film making process. They don't hide the issues and difficulties they had with the production which is refreshing and quite informative. Worth checking out for any film fan.
