How did this go so very wrong?
Everything was off and unfortunately, Edward Norton is credited to this abominaion. Bad screenplay, bad acting, bad directing and completely incomprehensible first half hour. If the film is going to be in a foreign language, put in subtitles. Everyone overacted, including Norton. The screenplay was filled with cliches. The directing was nothing stellar. It just seemed like a bloodbath, nothing more.
I went into this thinking that it would be great because Norton is very selective and took a year off so this project must be very special. Boy was I wrong!
Skip it to preserve your positive images of all actors, especially, Jon Voight and Edward Norton.
