"Pride" ties with "Guardians of the Galaxy" for the film I've enjoyed most this year, with "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" coming in second. Scenes from this film were so familiar to me from my own history and watching it with my mum was a strange but ultimately satisfying experience as a result.
