An account of British gay history when miners and gays and lesbians formed an unlikely alliance to fight Thatcher and the tabloids. Bordering dangerously on sentimentality at times, the film remains on the good side giving the events that unfolded their due.
Excellent cast. Bottom line: A lesson in humanity.
