Review of Powder Blue (2009) by David D — 27 Sep 2009
The film was actually rich in context- about living in the moment, letting go & moving on, how people being twisted by loneliness & alienation between each other, & starving for love, or just a hug.
Despair & heavy superficially, in addition to its sloppy & muddled pace, the film somehow was not as good as it should have been when putting everything altogether. The parallel but totally unrelated plot lines between Jessica Biel & Forest Whitaker kinda puzzles the intention for such set up.
